When you run 3 cell batteries you may have to add additional upgrades to achieve your desired results in speed, handling and durability. We are always more than happy to discuss the performance upgrades package in addition to recommend other proven hop-ups for those of you who may be running 3cell batteries most of the time. Our Traxxas Slash package also includes more services and parts upgrades that you will find listed below. You will find this tire is not only affordable but really works well in hard pack, and loose dirt, grass and more. You will quickly find out that the "Stock Traxxas Tires are great for the asphalt but really lack traction in the dirt!! And since we are upgrading all the steering and key suspension parts, we are including a new set of Duratrax Lockup SC tires and wheels in the c2 tire compound. No Performance Package would be complete if you don't have traction for all that power the Slash puts to the ground. Best of all the servo is brushless and has all metal gears!!! The servo has double the torque of the stock Traxxas servo and it's almost twice as fast.

as we upgrade the front and rear hubs to ST Racing Concepts aluminum steering knuckles and rear hubs, We also upgrade the steering rack (AKA - Bellcrank) to give you a more sensitive feel steering with the new Xpert RC servo thats included in the upgrade package. Our Performance Upgrade Package is for all Slash 4x4 models and features a "total upgrade of the steering and suspension" for major improved handeling and duabilty. And our Stage-One kit is ideal for those of you who are running 2-cell batteries but want more performance with the added "BLING Factor" of aluminum upgrade parts. We have identified some of the major areas that could use some improvement on the Slash 4wd RC. But there are areas on the Slash that are weak points.
The Traxxas Slash out of the box, is pretty-darn durable and will take a lot of abuse. RC car Stars now offers those of you who want to add some Performance Upgrades to your Traxxas Slash 4x4 via our " Stage 1 Performance Upgrade Package".
